Not long ago there were no headspuns. Now everywhere you look, they're popping up everywhere, and that includes the non band headspuns. There's headspun productions, bands, t-shirts, phones, batting, heads, spinning heads articles, spun movies, headless horsemen and so on. There's a headspun in texas, boston, canada and a few others. We are the original official authentic headspun with federally registered trademark to the name. We are of course at www.headspun.com, there's a headspunlive.com which I don't think is connected to the original official authentic headspun that you can find at www.headspun.com

Imre (born September 25, 1979) is the main songwriter for the Headspun band. His primary focus is on songwriting, producing and engineering. Imre writes all the songs, and hires a band to perform them live.



In 1992, Imre began his career writing heavy metal songs, in the vein of Metallica, Anthrax, SOD and others, by 1995 was writing pop/rock songs to please his younger brother. Imre released a pop/rock cassette demo tape in 1995 under the band name Less Than Amused. The demo tape gained the attention of Stan Poses of Universal Records, but Stan got interested when Imre hit it big with "This is Ludicrous", it's the 1995 version - not the updated 2008. Once again became an instant hit that sold over $5 million cd sales.
Stupid American was also another instant hit that was George W Bush's theme song. He wasn't sure if they were just stupid or just ignorant. Celebrity Imre and the Headspun band with Jacky Joe Joe, Clown Nose and Hoo Hoo.
