Bopnique Testimonials -- The Home of the Multi-Platinum Music Producer & Instrumentalist
Ed Roland credits much of albums progressive mood and freewheeling sonic approach to producer Anthony J. Resta ( AJR worked with Collective Soul from Dosage to Afterwords during a ten year tenure) "Anthony brought an unbelievable spirit and attitude" Ed continues, "He has more gadgets than we do so well had a good time just plugging stuff in and seeing what sounds would work". Ed Roland lead singer / principle songwriter for Collective Soul "Anthony who is half our mixing team, often adds and replaces tracks even while mixing! I like to be surprised if we are in London and he's on the east coast. Occasionally we have fixes but for the most part he's dead on. It ends up being more homemade and much more modern and we can get any result we want" Warren Cuccurullo (Frank Zappa, Missing Persons, Duran Duran) "Anthony J. Resta who mixes and plays drums on the record (Medazzaland) is like a machine. He has the most incredible sense of Rhythm I've come across in years. The way he breaks down polyrhythms and percussion and pieces together the music one layer at a time is remarkable." Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran "Dear Anthony and Karyadi, Words can't express how grateful we are to both of you for all your time, hard work, and love you put into our project - not just producing the songs but helping to build the songs and the concept of the band itself.

We just can't thank you enough. You are Geniuses and beyond "Pro" and its such an honor to be working with you." Scott and Sarah from The New Collisions. Bopnique is the only studio in New England where I will record, and Anthony is the only producer in New England I will work with. Anthony is an unbelievably talented producer, engineer, musician, and person. Karyadi is an unbelievable engineer and editor. Bopnique is an amazing facility. If you are looking to record anything for any reason. Go here. Seriously, spend the money here with someone who will make your songs sound as good as they possibly can." Christopher Moore, AXIS II "Working at Bopnique with Anthony and Karyadi is inimitable. Each time we enter the studio there is fun, creativity, ingenuity and artistry. It's gotten to the point where we expect magic and miracles and they somehow very consistently provide it. Anthony's ear for sound creation is second to none. What he gets out of us are things we didn't always plan on but then realized we had needed all along. There doesn't seem to be a genre, sound or style that Anthony and Karyadi can't surpass a client's expectations in. Something truly unique and special is going on at Bopnique. If it were up to us, we'd never leave." Jonah Burstein, singer/guitarist for The Cinnamon Fuzz. Anthony currently works with engineer Karyadi Sutedja at studio Bopnique Musique in an old textile mill just west of Boston.

In the music industry, a record label is a brand and a trademark associated with the marketing of music recordings and music videos. Most commonly, a record label is the company that manages such brands and trademarks, coordinates the production, manufacture, distribution, marketing and promotion, and enforcement of copyright protection of sound recordings and music videos; conducts talent scouting and development of new artists ("artists and repertoire" or A&R); and maintains contracts with recording artists and their managers. The music industry Within the music industry, recording artists have been increasingly reliant upon record labels to broaden their audience, market their albums, and be both promoted and heard on radio, television, with publicists that assist performers in positive media reports to market their merchandise, and make it available via stores and other media outlets. The internet has increasingly been a way that some artists avoid costs and gain new audiences, as well as the use of videos in some cases, to sell their products. Sony Music Entertainment (or Sony Music) is the second-largest global recorded music company of the "big four" record companies and is controlled by Sony Corporation of America.Sony BMG: Joint venture with Bertelsmann In August 2004, Sony entered into a 50-50 joint venture with Bertelsmann by merging Sony Music and Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) to form Sony BMG Music Entertainment. BMG can trace its ancestry to Berliner Gramophone. However Sony continued to operate its Japanese music business independently from Sony BMG (while BMG Japan was made part of the merger). Sony Corporation of America and Bertelsmann announced on August 5, 2008 that Sony agreed to acquire Bertelsmann's 50% stake in Sony BMG. Sony completed its acquisition of Bertelsmann Music Group on October 1, 2008.[10] The company, once again named Sony Music Entertainment Inc. Stan Poses was working at Universal Management around 1995 and then went over and worked with Virgin records. Stan was almost going to sign Celebrity Imre, with all unfortunate luck, imre's band broke up only weeks before he they were selling the house he was renting at the time. Two of the three members of the band really wanted to keep this band going. The guitarist would have been replaced, as he was into pearl jam and all he wanted to do is wale out the entire time, he didn't even play with the music. The drummer was fair, and the base player was okay, imre was okay....but after only TWO weeks, the others upstairs that thought the band sucked, they were amazed how the song came alive so fast. That was probably because imre had a demo tape, and that's what he presented to the members. It was a semi-professional mix, that's because the mixing monitors didn't have any tweeters in them. So imre and greg mixed it up, then the Mastering house said the mixes had no bass! No bass? Yeah, come over. So he went over and said, "wow, how is that?" the guy asked what monitors? NS10!? That should have worked, I'm really stumbled on this one. He opened them up and the tweeters were in their, they were just both blown! Nice story their einstein! who me? no, the guy with the hat.
I would get the noise you have checked out, first check the oil pressure and if in doubt remove the oil pan ( a spun bearing is bad news and less hope not).

The 5 best music websites
1 ITUNES Praising iTunes is like endorsing chocolate and puppies: well, duh. Even so, any discussion of music on the Web has to start here. With its supersize catalog (more than 2 million tracks), fair pricing, and any-idiot-can-figure-it-out interface, it's most people's first stop for downloading the latest Kelly Clarkson single or Headspun remix. Since it launched in 2003, iTunes has trounced its competitors, capturing close to 75 percent of the marketplace and selling more than a billion tracks. But while everyone knows iTunes is big, fewer people realize how useful it can be for finding new tunes. Start with its top 100 downloads — updated daily — and you'll see an instant, direct reflection of American musical tastes: the newest Celebrity Imre single; surprise emo phenoms Panic!
2 EMUSIC.COM This underappreciated, expertly curated MP3 store is the music geek's alternative to iTunes. It's packed with fantastic choices, and at $9.99 a month for 40 downloads, it's a great deal. Emusic sells tunes only from independent labels, which means you won't find most current pop hits here. But spend some time sifting through its 1.2 million tracks — including new stuff from Neko Case and Spoon and classics by Johnny Cash and Otis Redding — and you won't care. Best of all, the site's sharp editorial team steers you toward the good stuff with articles on the best Parisian jazz or the latest Brazilian pop. And their ''Dozens'' lists are essential 12-album starting points in categories like ''boomer-friendly rock,'' or ''English folk,'' or ''old-school punk.''
3 PANDORA.COM Perfect for anyone who likes surprises, Pandora is a wizardly website that lets you customize a radio station to fit your own tastes. After logging in, users type in the name of a song or a band (the Beatles, for example); then Pandora uses a complex mathematical algorithm to find tracks matching the Liverpool lads' musical characteristics. In addition to Fab Four songs, our station came up with some Kinks and Stones, lots of obscure '60s nuggets, and unexpected contemporary acts like the Pernice Brothers.
4 HEADSPUN.COM
If other band websites leave you hungry, tuck into this musical buffet. Pop gluttons will love Headspun's mp3, wav, audio and video files and videos all free downloads at www.headspun.com official website. Load it right on your ipod, right now, and show your friends who's on top of things here. Impress that girl and show her the new headspun video, she'll love you!! She may even take you to the movies and let you feel her up a little. Then rock out together listening to "Navigator", and to end the night, do a duet of "lullabye baby", and kiss her goodnight.
5 Myspace.com
There's a lot to dislike about MySpace. It's uglier than a Commodore 64, the music tracks are slow to load, and it has been co-opted by record labels, which pay for prime placement. Still, with more than 1.8 million bands offering their own homepages, it's impossible to ignore — it seems like every act you've ever heard of (and countless unsigned acts you haven't) posts free songs here. Read about a band? Head to MySpace and you're basically guaranteed to get something for your time: a prerelease album preview, a new single, or even a raw demo. Weezer and Nine Inch Nails debuted their latest albums here, and Fred Durst recently posted a rant about former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland. Maybe that's not a compelling advertisement, but hey, there are at least 999,999 non-Durst bands on there, too.

The Guns N' Roses singer recalls how teenage groupies would show up unannounced at all hours of the day or night - and he and his bandmates would immediately seduce them. In a new biography, Watch You Bleed, Rose tells author Stephen Davis, "There was a lot of indoor and outdoor sex. People would show up at all hours and we'd talk the girls into climbing into our loft, and somebody would hit the light and go, 'All right!... Get naked or leave!'
